Toronto Customs Picket Triggers Other Customs Protests

JUN 25, 2004 – A protest by Customs workers and PSAC members at Pearson International Airport has immediately spread to border crossings and international airports at other points of entry across Canada.  Customs workers at the following locations have informed the National Office of the Customs Excise Union Douanes Accise (CEUDA) they have joined their Sisters and Brothers in solidarity and protest:

• Niagara Falls, ON

• Sarnia, ON

• Windsor, ON

• Fort Erie, ON

• Sault St Marie, ON

• All border crossings across Southern Alberta

• St. Stephen, Woodstock, and Edmundston, NB

• All Customs points of entry into Newfoundland
