The By-Laws format has stayed relatively unchanged for nearly 30 years. The By-Laws Committee of the CEUDA NBoD proposed a new format, which the Board supported in April 2005 and which Convention Delegates adopted at CEUDA's 14th National Convention.

National Convention (l-r) Scott, Pellerin-Fowlie, Moran, Fortin, Walker (below) McGillivray Sept 30 to Oct 2 - CEUDA held its 14th National Convention in Ottawa. With great pride and loud applause, Delegates adopted a no dues increase budget. Delegates also showed strong support for CEUDA’s former National President, Ron Moran, and acclaimed him to another term in office. There was definitely a feeling that CEUDA, under Ron’s leadership was on the right track and Delegates are eager to see where CEUDA will head under his continued stewardship.

CEUDA NBoD Revamps Branch Elections Rule APR 2005 New format ... CEUDA’s Branch Rule 9 spells out how Branch elections take place. The Rule has stayed relatively unchanged for nearly 30 years. The By-Laws Committee of the CEUDA NBoD proposed a new format, which the NBoD adopted at its April 2005 meeting. Highlights include: the same, single schedule for all Branches; the National Office will set the schedule, to start after Convention and end before Christmas holidays of the same year; 2-week timeframes for each period.
