Membership Roll

Life
membership is awarded by the CEUDA National Board of Directors in
recognition and honour of members of CEUDA whose personal efforts on behalf
of the union membership during their years of service have rightfully earned
them the highest award attainable within the Union, that of Life Member.

Life Membership may be awarded
to any Member of Customs Excise Union Douanes Accise. |
| 2. |
The person nominated for Life
Membership shall have made an outstanding contribution to Customs Excise
Union Douanes Accise at any or all levels of the organization.

i. |
The person nominated must have made an outstanding
contribution for a period of not less than eight years - not necessarily
consecutive. It is possible, however, to consider an award for a single
outstanding performance, if it was something of exemplary value to the
organization. The outstanding contribution must be clearly explained in
respect to, nature of contribution efforts expended, obstacles
encountered and benefits realized. |

Any Member may make application supported by two
signatures of other Members in good standing. All other criteria apply.

All applications for Life
Membership shall be referred to the Standing Committee on Honours and
Awards, made up of three or more, members of the Board of Directors
appointed by the National President. This Standing Committee is to
review all applications and make appropriate recommendations to the
Board. The Committee will recommend by consensus decision, that the
application go forward to the Board or that the application not go
forward to the Board for voting. Where an application is not
recommended to go forward to the Board for voting the application may be
presented by the Nominator to the Board, but only after being voted on
by the Committee, for their deliberation. |

All decisions on awarding Life
Membership in Customs Excise Union Douanes Accise shall require a
two-thirds (2/3) majority vote of the Board of Directors assembled in
regular meeting and voting will be carried out by secret ballot. |
| 6. |
The Board of Directors shall
not award more than three Life Memberships per calendar year.

| 7. |
Nomination for Life
Membership may be made by Branches or any Member of the Board of
Directors. Where it is a Branch nomination include a copy of the Branch
minutes or copy of the resolution/motion with the application.

The total
number of Life Members shall not exceed thirty living members. |
