NBoD Committees Board Committees are chaired by the National President or any one of the four National Vice-Presidents elected at Convention. The National President is an ex-officio member of all Committees, as governed by By-Law 12, Sec 3, Sub-section g. Branch Presidents, Directors on the National Board, make up membership of Board Committees. Committees meet at least twice per year, usually on the day prior to Board meetings - sometimes during the Board itself, and at times between Board meetings. Reports are written and presented to the NBoD and they detail issues discussed and separately itemize recommendations for the Board's consideration. Each Committee is governed by a mandate. Some Committees, not all, are governed by specific authorities.
