icon_redbullet.gif (833 bytes)  2005 to 2008 Brother Steve Pellerin-Fowlie was re-elected to the CEUDA National Executive as the 2nd National Vice-President at CEUDA's 14th National Convention held in Ottawa from Sept 30 to Oct 2, 2005.  Steve had previously been elected to the position of 3rd NVP at CEUDA's 13th National Convention held in Toronto in September 2002.  He also held the positions of 2nd NVP from April 2003 to March 2004, and of 1st NVP from March 2004 to Oct 2005.

Brother Pellerin-Fowlie began as a union activist in the PSAC in 1985 and served as President of the Calgary Area Council from 1987 to 1989.

Steve became a CEUDA member in May 1988 when he was appointed as a Customs Officer.  Since that time he has served as Chief Steward and an Executive Steward (in both Traffic and Commercial Divisions), an Appeals Representative (1991 to 1999), 3rd VP, 2nd VP (1996 to 1999) and as President of the Alberta and District Branch from February 1999 to September 2002.

As a member of the National Board of Directors, Steve served on the By-Laws Committee and was elected to the Equal Opportunities Committee.  He was also appointed as a Customs Officer Technical Adviser to the first PSAC/CCRA Bargaining Team in 1999 and served as a member of the Customs Officer Bargaining Unit Working Group.

As 2nd NVP, Steve is accountable for the Communication portfolio, as well as the following three CEUDA NBoD Committees: Component Collective Bargaining, Officer Powers, and By-Laws.  Steve is responsible for all CEUDA Branches in Ontario except the Headquarters District Branch, and he is also member of CEUDA Holdings Ltd. Board of Directors.

Steve has always strived to bring union activism to areas that are traditionally inactive and to empower and involve the disenfranchised.
